Works as advertised! Easy setup, easy to read display. I discovered one minor glitch... The maximum temperature would sometimes display as 99.6 degrees even though the highs never exceeded the 50s. It only happened sporadically but since I keep daily high and low readings, it was an annoyance.
It took a bit to figure out what caused this problem, but I finally isolated it to an garage door opener that I keep inside my home. The beam crosses the signal from the temperature sensor to the receiver and cause the erroneous reading. After correcting the problem, I never had a re-occurrence. I recommend this product!

Very easy to set up, wireless remote uses AA batteries and thermometer uses AAA batteries. 2 screw (Included) mounting bracket for remote sensor. Follow instructions for installing batteries and you will have no problems with the set up. I have tested the thermometers reading against the local weather reports and its dead on the same. It is very accurate. Another nice feature that I like is the large readings. Buy one, you will not be disappointed. I ordered this and one extra remote sensor. Works as advertised. The remotes sensor transmits in the 900 Mhz range so as not to interfere with wireless networks. Read the directions carefully if you use more than one remote sensor. Most problems occur when the batteries are put wrong.
This Works Well!

I have had this type of thermometer before (different brand) but I have to say that this La Crosse model is much better. It is easy to set up and very easy to read. I love this thing! It works exactly as advertised. I got it set up in about 3 minutes. Great range and is accurate to 1-2 degrees for the outside temperature readings. Read the instructions first to ensure a successful first time set up. Highly Recommended!
